DECEMBER 1ST AND 15TH ARE BIG DEADLINE DATES FOR MOST COLLEGES.  MAKE SURE YOUR APPLICATION  FOR ADMISSION AND SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION ARE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN THESE DATES.

The Horatio Alger Scholarship is available to students who possess the character to succeed in life.  They help students overcome the financial barriers of pursuing higher education.  To qualify, you must have a 2.0 GPA and require financial assistance to attend college. to learn more visit scholars.horatioalger.org   The application deadline is October 25, 2018.

KU School of Engineering is looking for students interested in majoring in Engineering.  Go to www.engr.ku.edu/self or 785-864-2945 to learn more about the program and scholarship opportunities.

The Epsilon Sigma Alpha International (ESA) scholarship is available at www.epsilonsigmaalpha.org

Attention all Senior Beta members!!!  Be sure to apply for the National Beta Scholarship at betaclub.org/scholarship  The application will be open from November 1, 2018 to January 26, 2019.

The National Wildlife Turkey Federation NWTF has a scholarship available for seniors.  Please visit www.nwtf.org to apply.  All applications are due to Mrs. Heuring by January 27, 2019.

Missouri S &T will be offering the Chancellor’s Scholarship.  This is a renewable scholarship valued at $12,000.00 per year for four years.  Students must have a 3.75 GPA or be in the upper 10% of their senior class. Visit sfa.mst.edu/chancellors for more information.

The Christian Connector provides a free Christian college information service as well as a $2,500.00 scholarship drawing.  Just visit www.ChristianConnector.com to request information and to be automatically entered into the $2,500.00 scholarship drawing.  This website offers around $150 million in scholarships provided by participating Christian Colleges.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best 4 year colleges and universities.  Students may receive up to $40,000.00 per year, college planning support, ongoing advising, and a networking opportunity with the larger JKCF Scholar community. You must have a 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and have an ACT composite score of 26 or higher. Visit www.jkcf.org for more information.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities offer a U.S. Scholarship Program for seniors.  Visit https://aim.applyISTS.net/RMHC to apply.  Application deadline is JANUARY 18, 2019.

The James and Nellie Westlake Scholarship is available.  For MO residents with a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale with a family adjusted gross income of $50,000.00.  Visit https://www.scholarsapply.org/westlake  The application deadline is FEBRUARY 1, 2019.

The MO Gaming Association is pleased to announce the 2018 Project 21 Scholarship Program.  The goal of the program is to inform youth that it is not permissible in MO for persons under the age of 21 to gamble in a casino, but also to educate them about the dangers and consequences associated with underage gambling.  This scholarship program provides MO students the opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling.  Two $1,500.00 first prize scholarships and four $1,000.00 second prize scholarships will be awarded.  For more information stop by Mrs. Heuring’s Office for an application.  The deadline is March 1, 2019.

Arch City Granite will be awarding a scholarship to Missouri and Illinois students to help pay for college expenses.  Visit https://www.archcitygranite.com/scholarship/ to apply.  The deadline is April 30, 2019.
